Tasting Scotch Whisky

In terms of taste and aroma, Scotch Whisky is a complex spirit. To date more than five hundred compounds have been identified.

When we talk about tasting a whisky we are referring to the overall experience not simply the taste by mouth.

The five elements that we will consider here are :
